Hi, I tried 2.99.6 today and found this links in the new teTeX bin directory: ./dvilj6 -> dvilj4 ./dvigif -> dvipng ./mptopdf -> texexec ./allec -> allcm ./kpsepath -> kpsetool ./kpsexpand -> kpsetool ./texhash -> mktexlsr ./fdf2tan -> texexec ./fdf2tex -> texexec ./makempy -> texexec ./texfind -> texexec ./texfont -> texexec ./texshow -> texexec ./texutil -> texexec ./thumbpdf -> texexec ./pdfcrop -> texexec ./mktexfmt -> fmtutil ./ofm2opl -> omfonts ./opl2ofm -> omfonts ./ovf2ovp -> omfonts ./ovp2ovf -> omfonts ./latex -> pdfetex ./etex -> pdfetex ./pdftex -> pdfetex ./pdflatex -> pdfetex ./lambda -> omega ./lamed -> aleph most of them looks ok, but latex is linked to pdfetex. Is this really correct? And is initex no longer necessary? Willi
