Re: 2.99.8: second release candidate

Hi,

first of all Happy New Year 2005!!

Trying to configure on an IRIX64 6.5 gives this error message:

configuring in web2c
running /bin/sh ./configure  --disable-multiplatform 
--prefix=/scratch/a0640/tetex --with-x --with-system-libwww 
--with-system-libpng --with-system-ncurses --enable-a4

./configure[600]: syntax error at line 74 : `{' unmatched
configure: error: ./configure failed for web2c
configure: error: ./configure failed for texk

I took a look at the configure script in texk/web2c/, but I couldn't 
find something that causes the problem.
