Re: 2.99.12 (Irix failure)

Have a problem under Irix... basename is not present on the
system.... Need to use xbasename..

(And one needs to remove texk/web2c/ttf2afm.c before recompiling as it
is copied)

I'll let you know if there any other problems by tomorrow morning...
