Maybe we can have a script "getfonts" in TL which downloads and
executes "getfont" from CTAN.  This way "getfont" can be extended
while "getfonts" is burnt on a CD. Internet access is required anyway.

The current version can be downloaded for testing from

Supported fonts are now:

    eurofont:      Euro symbols (Adobe).
    dayroman:      DayRoman (Apostrophiclabs)
    garamond:      GaramondNo8 (URW).
    lettergothic:  LetterGothic (URW).
    luximono:      LuxiMono (Bigelow & Holmes)
    utopia:        Utopia (Adobe).

Ralf Stubner suggested to support DayRoman and LuxiMono and to provide
all files needed instead of only the pfb files.  I now download
Walter's stuff as well, but I'm not sure whether eurofont is complete.

I changed a few things as proposed by George White and Thomas Esser.

Since I'm not able to use vanilla ftp ("ftp ftp.dante.de < responses")
I search for other ftp clients in $PATH.

At the moment these are lftp, ncftpget, wget, curl, snarf, and gftp.

lftp, curl and snarf had been reported by Hartmut Henkel, but
certainly there are more.
