psfonts_t1.map' not found

Dear helpers, 

I'm running tetex 1.0 and trying to use some new fonts I've installed.
Latex finds them very well, but xdvi can't show them, it says:


kpathsea: Running mktexpk --mfmode ljfour --bdpi 600 --mag 1+0/600 --dpi 600
cork-lmr10
gsftopk: fatal: dvips config file `psfonts_t1.map' not found.

Why doesn't gsftopk find this file? 
I've found it here: /var/lib/texmf/dvips/config/psfonts_t1.map

May some paths be wrong since I istalled once Tex-Live?

What can I do to solve the problem?
