As instructed by README.garamond, I ran "updmap --enable Map ugm.map", but
the instructions didn't say to run it as root.

Should I re-run the command as root, even though I installed the font in
the ~/texmf tree? (It seems weird that one would have to have root access
to a box just to install a font in one's private tree.)
