Yes, that is my aim. But to be any use, all the packages which currently 
require teTeX would
have to be redone to alternatively accept TeXLive modules. it requires 
considerable
planning and testing, and _time_. Something I for one don't have. If 
anyone wants to take on this
project, I'd be delighted.
