I did release a new beta today. Most tings usually work even with my beta
releases, but I'd prefer not to see them distributed too widely, because:
  - it containes unreleased version of other software, e.g. pdftex
  - the documentation is not accurate
  - some tools need some work (e.g. updmap should have better support
    for helping users with the old/new locations of map files)
  - I plan to make the final release in the not too far future

Definately this year. Hopefully in the first half of this year.
