texconfig init

Hello,

I just installed tetex using the i-installer on Mac OS 10.2.8.  I am 
having one problem that has led to a possible other problem.  I'll 
describe the latter, first. Perhaps if that problem is resolved then 
the first problem will be resolved as well.

when I run 'sudo texconfig init' the process runs into problems two 
times. Both times it looks like it is trying to use/process a binary 
file.  Can anyone take a look and see if they can tell what is 
happening?

The process runs into problems with amstex and texinfo.
