This is the sup_param_size limit given in tex.ch. You cannot go beyond
this limit without recompiling tex. If beamer really that hungry? If
this is no bug in the macro programming, I think that we should raise
this limit in the sources.

PS: see my above paragraph: each line (accidently) starts with "this";
  lines have been wrapped by "fmt". I wonder whether any program in the
  world would try to avoid such things when breaking lines... :-)
