Re: missing tangle

I've switching to intalling Tetex using pkgadd.

as root I type:

# pkgadd -d tetex-3.0-SunOS5.8-sparc-CSW.pkg


Get the following messages:

    The <CSWgs> package "ghostscript" is a prerequisite
    package and should be installed.
WARNING:

    package and should be installed.

    should be installed.

    should be installed.
WARNING:
    The <CSWxpm> package "" is a prerequisite package and
    should be installed.


but I type Y to continue installation

and get 

Installation of <CSWtetex> was successful.

as me I type:

bash-2.05$ pdflatex test.tex
ld.so.1: pdflatex: fatal: libstdc++.so.6: open failed: No such file or
directory
Killed

I have libstdc++.so.6 in /usr/local/lib/ and /usr/local/lib/sparcv9

I have moved /usr/ucb to the end of my $PATH.

I intend only to use pdf format so the absence of GhostView is not an
issue.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Not really related to your issue: it's not a good practice to put
/usr/ucb at the beginning of your PATH; /usr/ucb is provided, mainly,
for migration/backward compatibility purposes and most of the time, when
building a package, it's source of confusion.
