\chapter \chapter* and page header

hi hi,

I am still using tetext-2.02 on solaris and have a tex related problem.
Together with the glosstex pacage I define
\glxheading{glo}{\chapter*{\glossaryname}}

and later on produce the glossary:
	%-- glossary
	\cleardoublepage
	\refstepcounter{chapter}
	\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{\glossaryname}
	\printglosstex(glo)

The problem is that \chapter* does not set the chapter name for the header.
Therefore on subsequent pages of the glossary it still says "Index" in the
header (index was the chapter before).
Using \chapter instead of \chapter* fixes this, but changes the page title to
"Chapter 9: Glossary", which I don't want.
I've not managed to find the definitions of these commands in my tetext
installation to see what they do different.
Is there a command I can use to change the title for the header. Any other
suggestions?
