You need to ensure that only type1 fonts get used, including for math. If you could post a stripped-down example, including all of the commands before \begin{document} and some of the text and math on one of the failing pages someone here should be able to help you to eliminate bitmap fonts from your pdf. If not someone here, then the [email protected] list or the comp.text.tex newsgroup would be useful places to ask, though they'll need the same info I mentioned above. -JimC -- James H.
