I don't understand why that's better than kpathsea4j, or jkpathsea,
but I defer to your Java experience.

    For the jar file however, it could be simply called `kpathsea.jar`.

I'd prefer jkpathsea.jar.

    However, if `tex4j.jar` suites TeX Live too, I could keep the names
    identical.

I don't know, but it looks confusing to me.
