Hello again TUG members,

A new LaTeX release 2025-06-01 has been uploaded to CTAN, and should be
available via normal distribution updates within a few days. Progress in
the tagging project continues, including math. Mark support has also
been substantially improved, along with many other new features and bug
fixes. For more info on this and all the other changes, see LaTeX News #41:
  https://www.latex-project.org/news/latex2e-news/ltnews41.pdf

In general, the LaTeX News installments are a good way to learn about
the changes in and updates to LaTeX.

A new book review has been posted, of Alan Cain's magnum opus Form & Number,
which is freely available in various formats:
  https://archive.org/details/cain_formandnumber_ebook_large

The review is by mathematician Viktor Bl\aa{}sj\"o:
  https://tug.org/books/reviews/tb143reviews-cain.html

For those of us who are not mathematicians, the book is still quite a
joy to browse through just for the gorgeous illustrations. We expect to
also publish an interview with Alan soon.
