I am a new comer here. I have TeXLive 2022 from Debian Stable which will upgrade to TeXLive 2024 shortly.

I wish to have another TeXLive instance in my system (via ISO installation) which will be the latest one always.

I was told that one can have 2 versions of TeXLive simultaneously and choose which one to use at the time of compilation. 

What steps should I follow to achieve this? 

This is a production system and the only one I have. So the existing one should be intact just in case something goes wrong with the ISO installation.
