    installation) which will be the latest one always.

Just to add to what the others said ... if you want the "latest", after
the initial installation from the ISO you should do "tlmgr update --all".

That will update lots and lots of things, including LaTeX and some of the
engine binaries, though not in any way you're likely to notice. But
since you mention the "latest".

You can also install the latest by downloading and running the installer
package (which is tiny), as I tried to describe here:
  https://tug.org/texlive/acquire-netinstall.html 

If disk space is a concern, you can install a subset by selecting a
different so-called "scheme" in the installer.

However, if you don't have a good net connection (if by "iso" you mean
"dvd"), you probably shouldn't bother to try to update, or install from
the net, since it would take ... ages ...
