texlive install

Hello,
I have run the texlive install script.   I now see TeX 2025 rather
than TeX 2024.   However, if I try using TeX within the 2025
version,   dvipdfmx cannot find a font.    Using TeX 2024,  all
works as it should --  dvipdfmx finds the font within   texmf-local  as it
should.   All I do is change in the  /etc/paths file
/usr/local/texlive/2024...  to  /usr/local/texlive/2025...

What do I need do to obtain texlive 2025 working correctly?
