try to have same option switches semantics with makeinfo

Hi,

I think this would be nice to have the same option switches, and option
switches with the same meaning than makeinfo option switches, whenever it
makes sense (it doesn't make sense for the --split option, for example), 
while trying to be as backward compatible as possible.

Thus it could be easier to switch from an application to the other without
pain.

What do you think about it ?
