The referenced bug report refers to LambdaCoreUserMan.texinfo, which can be found in the .orig.tar.gz at <http://packages.debian.org/stable/net/lambdamoo-docs.html>. Notable features of that texinfo file are that it has no top node (for that matter it has no nodes) but it does have chapters & sections. I've run texi2html both with and without the patch, both with -monolithic and with -split_chapter. The only difference (diff -dur) is that with the -split_chapter option, without the patch LambdaCoreUserMan.html is created as a zero-length file, while with the patch that file doesn't get created. I'll commit the patch in ~24 hrs unless you reply first. pjm.
