I noticed that the CVS manual is now causing the latest texi2html to
generate "@sp requires a numeric argument" warnings, where it never did
before.  `makeinfo' does not generate these same warnings for `@sp'
without an argument, and the texinfo manual states: "A line beginning
with and containing only `@sp N' generates N blank lines of space in
both the printed manual and the Info file.  `@sp' also forces a
paragraph break.  For example, ...", which isn't entirely clear that @sp
alone is or isn't acceptable.

Regardless, as I was saying, `makeinfo' seems to assume that `@sp'
without an argument is equivalent to `@sp 1'.  Perhaps texi2html should too?
