Doesn't sound worth the effort, especially if --output=. still works.
I'd say just change it and let people catch up. They should figure it
out pretty quickly. Note the change in NEWS and maybe have texi2html
report, at least in verbose mode, where it is putting the generated
files, if it doesn't report that already.
