Missing diagnostic in texi2html 1.65

Hello

I narrowed down my problem to the following.
Take the following minimal texi file:

------>texi start here<-----------
@menu
* Ko::           Ko
@end menu

@node Ko,,,
@comment  node-name,  next,  previous,  up
------>texi ends here<-----------

texi2html gives the message:

*** Undefined node of menu_entry (Ko): * Ko::           Ko

makeinfo --html gives the diagnostic

zz3.texi:5: Node `Ko' requires a sectioning command (e.g. @unnumbered).

So makeinfo's diagnostic is more informative here.
