I confirm that that my Fedora 43 machine also builds successfully and
passes all tests.

Not that the platform is much different than ones you have tested, but I
have run into issues in the past due to different default compiler flags
used by 'gcc' here and listed in 'perl -V'. So I figured it was worth
confirming.
