Concerning GNU MPFR, this no longer occurs since the source tree
has been reorganized in 2010 (in particular with a "doc" directory
for the documentation). But I suppose that this could still occur
for some libraries.

Note also that such a doc directory may also contains helper scripts
for the documentation. So a clash is not impossible, IMHO.
