I've been thinking about this. Having part of the screen taken up by some
asciiart map seems like consuming too much of it, and screens aren't a renewable
source. Howe about having some "map", which would be toggled with a key 'm'
(probably taken; didn't even look up). Something like in some games, where you
press 'm' and go to the map view, and 'm' to go back to the game (but you could
use 'q' for going back). More or less like less(1)'s 'h' help screen.

Good night!

Alex
