Just a quick test shows that doing this:

   makeinfo --output=out/lilypond/lilypond.html --html out/lilypond.texi

now produces split html output as:

    out/lilypond/lilypond.html/*.html

what used to be:

    out/lilypond/*.html

I haven't looked into this yet.  Is it intentional?  If so, it looks
like this would make for hairy Makefile hacking.
