Re: Project: texi2latex

1) I can agree that conditional text should be included in the XML
   output, at least with an option, possibly by default.  If anyone
   would like to work on that (Alper?), that would be great.

2) We can discuss @iflatex or whatever when and if there ever actually
   is a working LaTeX back end.

3) I don't think rms would take kindly to me documenting a putative
   @ifroff command by saying "this is only useful with texi2html".  His
   whole view is that texi2html, XML translators, etc., should not
   exist, and efforts are best spent improving makeinfo.  (I don't feel
   so draconian about it myself, as I hope you know.)  See his text that
   I put at the end of README.dev...
