Stephan, thanks for the quick reply. I didn't have time to check at home that i'm really using the same version of the tpslifonts package. If you change it in the very last cvs update then they may be different. I will have a look at this tonight. I never heard of an `on the fly' generation of tfm filess. You really never stop learning :-) What i am aware of is the generation of the pk fonts from the mf-source on the fly, which doesn't make sense using pdf. Nevertheless this doesn't change anything because the tfm is missing earlier. CMacTeX comes with the standard maketexpk but i never heard of `mktextfm'. Hmm, i know how to produce tfm files from the mf source using mf's nullmode. And i have the ecfb.mf source. CMacTeX comes with `two types' of ec-fonts. There are some which are in a `ready-mf' folder and for them tfms exists. ecfb is none of them. I will try to generate the tfm manually. I'm using CMacTeX for years now and never had this problem before. Is there some imput file for mktextfm like for maketexpk which you can send me. Just that i have an idea which parameters mf to offer for the tfm generation? -- 1 + 1 = 3, for large values of 1. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The best thread debugger on the planet.
