Since you don't post a minimal example, I can't possibly say if you do something wrong or not :-) I just tested http://texpower.sourceforge.net/doc/divexample.pdf and it works in Adobe Reader (AR) 8.1 on Windows - view full screen and go to the second page. Does that file work for you? If not, have you read section 3.8 - "Set acrobat reader's automatic page advancing feature" - on page 68-69 of the implementation docs[1]? That text is quite old, but it might be relevant for your new AR too - automatic page advancing has been buggy in AR all the time.
