Following Hans suggestion I am sending the following
communications that we have maintained out of the list. I
would like to notice that I am using the very last version
of Texpower (from CVS) so some people could find that the
suggestions of Hans do not work in their cases (Ignacio
Furio reported a problem yesterday that could be related to
this issue).

Try the ``nineminutes'' option which was added to circumvent a strange 
behaviour of acrobat/acroread v4.05 and later wrt. page duration. (You 
also may have to set the options for auto advance in Reader.)

No, no. It's still in his hands. (I'm not capable of programming TeX the

I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this behaviour. However, I noticed that 
your using the t1enc package. That's not really necessary for 
presentations and removing it may solve your problem, assuming that you 
have installed cm-super and they are used because of the t1enc package.
(Off topic: I think \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} is "more correct" than 
\usepackage{t1enc}.)
