I installed it from the link that C.Dattatreyan had given in his first
post.
I use kile 2.1 beta 4.

When I load pdfrack.sty from the hyperlink given in the Boyce document - it
loads as pdfrack.tex.

I am cutting and pasting the preamble to my document

\documentclass[a4paper,10pt]{article}

\usepackage{graphicx}
%\usepackage[font=Large]{caption}
\usepackage[209mode]{psfrag}
\usepackage{hyperref}
\usepackage{pdfrack}
\usepackage{/home/ashag/Desktop/passivedendritcorr/pdfrack.sty}
\usepackage[super,nonamebreak]{natbib}
\bibliographystyle{unsrt}

You can use this to write something of your own and check
