problem with indian rupee symbol

dear friendswhen i type
\documentclass[]{article}
\usepackage{tfrupee}
%\usepackage[pdftex]{graphicx}
\begin{document}
\rupee~2000
%{\includegraphics[height=0.15in]{./logo}}
\end{document}
It gives me correct output as indian rupee symbol . but when following is entered as .tex file , it creates errors and no output. I am using miktex and texmaker. please do help me.

If you have installed full miktex then it should be there in your system.
