Sorry for posting in bits and pieces. It is possible to type shree and ksha using the following letter combinations according to the following document: http://unicode.org/L2/L2001/01375r-N2381R-Tamil.pdf Note: The Tamil Letter Shree (at Shifted position on the Y key) is composed of the following characters (identified by their Unicode values): U+0B9A + U+0BCD + U+0BB0 + U+0BC0. Similarly the Tamil Letter Ksha (at Shifted position on the T key) is composed of the following Unicode characters: U0B95+U0BCD+U0BB7. You can use itrans-tamil if you don't mind using itrans transliteration. See http://ctan.imsc.res.in/macros/xetex/generic/itrans/ You can get ksha also. See http://ctan.imsc.res.in/macros/xetex/generic/itrans/itrans-tamil-sample.pdf and http://ctan.imsc.res.in/macros/xetex/generic/itrans/itrans-tamil-sample.tex *Summarising*, please install Chanakya or Kamal. They are complete families. (No slant fonts though.) Then, type your document in xelatex using itrans-tamil-sample.tex Best regards, On 20 July 2015 at 12:15, <[email protected]> wrote: > Send tugindia mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo/tugindia > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [email protected] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [email protected] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of tugindia digest..." > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
