Query about kile

I have been using kile to write several chapters of my forthcoming book. It
worked fine for 3 chapters. Now I have started on the fourth and when I do
quick build, it does not compile but gives me a message saying finished
with exit code 1, did you run Latex?

Please help. I don't understand what went wrong suddenly.
