n0...g takes me to page n; e.g., 100g goes to page 1; 120g goes to page 12; etc. This seems to be new in 22.84.14.

Yes, I can reproduce this - the reason is that a binding for '0' is
missing in the default translations; so a workaround would be to put the
following into your X resources (e.g. ~/.Xdefaults):
XDvi.mainTranslations: #override\n\
<Key>0: digit(0)
