Category: X interface Group: incorrect behaviour >Status: Closed >Resolution: Wont Fix Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Ricardo Nabinger Sanchez (rnsanchez) Assigned to: Stefan Ulrich (stefanulrich) Summary: Keys misbehaving if mouse pointer is at vertical scroll bar Initial Comment: If the mouse pointer is over the vertical scroll bar, keys like pgup/pgdn and q (to quit) don't work properly: pgup/pgdn will just scroll in the current page (instead of changing page), and q will not finish xdvi. However, if the mouse pointer is over the status bar, toolbar (that one with tool icons), or menubar (File Navigate ...), then no key works at all. Having the mouse pointer anywhere else, keys work as expected. % xdvi -version xdvik version 22.84.10 (@(#)Motif Version 2.2.3, runtime version 2.2) Libraries: kpathsea version 3.5.2, T1lib version 5.1.1 % uname -a FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE #0: Sun May 7 04:32:43 UTC 2006 [email protected]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Stefan Ulrich (stefanulrich) Date: 2010-01-13 21:18 Message: I think the default bindings can't be fixed, closing bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Stefan Ulrich (stefanulrich) Date: 2007-09-07 00:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=177175 Originator: NO The issue with the toolbar has been fixed in version 22.84.12, at least for the background (if mouse is over a button, the bindings are still overridden). The other widgets (like scrollbar, menubar, statusline) have built-in default bindings, I'll need to check if it works to merge the custom Xdvi bindings with them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=377580&aid=1789558&group_id=23164 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev
