Initial Comment:
Glyphs rendered by T1lib 5.1.2 under xdvik 22.84.16 are sometimes shifted, changed in length, or both. The problem goes away when T1lib is bypassed by using ps2pk or gsftopk to create a PK version of the font, and the problem also goes away if xdvik is bypassed entirely by converting the DVI file to PS or PDF and then using gv or acroread to display the result.
