Re: Newbie looking for help!

The easiest way would be to put the xdvi binary and wrapper script in with
the binaries of tex, latex, etc., and then put xdvi.cfg in
/usr/share/texmf/xdvi/xdvi.cfg

Is that possible?  Otherwise, I'll try to come up with some environment
variables to set.
