Dear All,

I have a problem with xdvi: it displays text very slowly - lines of the 
text appear one by one and it takes more than 2 seconds to display a new 
page (or more than 4 second when using reverse colors), while e.g. okular 
displays new pages of the same dvi file at once.

I use xdvi provided by

 	texlive-xdvi-2013.84.22.86svn30339-18.5.noarch

and my OS is openSUSE Leap 42.1, the desktop environment is KDE Plasma 
5.4.2.

I would be very grateful for any help.
