In the examples, where "tracking offset" comes from?

Some time ago, some great and very usefull examples have been added to the
Chrony website.

How the "tracking offset" data is captured? Is it one of the column from
the tracking log? If yes, which one? If not, how the "tracking offset" data
is generated ?
