Ah, yes. I think it needs rewording to emphasize that you need to use
TOPDIR; dragging clean into it seems just to muddy the issue.

Yes. This is XML-vs-SGML again - I have a bunch of subtle XML changes in
the source, all marked with <!--/-->, and my intention was to check my
patches for <!--/--> before I sent them to you, so that we wouldn't get
any XML issues. Seems like I slipped up there.

Which DTD (version) are you using, anyway? There oughtn't be any changes
in what's allowed in an element. Maybe I forgot to validate, though.
