I was just reading A-A-P design decision #5 (a bit late perhaps) and here's some more information, which perhaps can be useful. wxPython vs py-gtk. I have done some projects in py-gtk and I like it. It is easy to use, mostly because glade is available to create GUIs with. Now I looked at wxPython, it also has a gui builder, originally named wxglade. However, wxglade seems to only be able to generate code, where py-gtk (pyglade to be exact) can read the glade file and build the GUI on the fly. However I do not know how well this all works on Windows or other platforms.
