The following trivial aap file will demonstrate a difference between how
~ A-A-P operates on Unix and on Windows. Try this test on both real unix
and a cygwin install:

First, set up a directory with a subdirectory, and a symlink to it.

$ mkdir -p 1/2
$ ln -s 1 1x

Then, run "aap works" and "aap cygwin-broken" on the following script
- ---- cut ----
works: 1/2
	:print done with works
cygwin-broken: 1x/2
	:print done with cygwin-broken
- ---- cut ----

Both targets work on Unix, but only the first one works in Cygwin.
