Remove old outputs?

Does aap have a database of previous generated outputs, that can be used  
to remove them if they are no longer needed?

I have several cases where it is desirable to compile the entire contents  
of a folder (say, compiling a directory full of lua files) to produce  
another.  If a file is deleted from the folder, then the output(s) should  
also be deleted.

I haven't been able to tell whether any build system anywhere supports  
this, but it seems like it should be possible.
