Both can be converted to nice HTML (I know you don't use KDE, but you should take a look at its help:/ docs sometime - XML docbook, converted to HTML and with a fancy stylesheet applied to it, on the fly). The biggest change is that in XML, you need to watch you closing tags better. FWIW, I've already converted all the docs to XML for home use, and use xsltproc /usr/local/kde-3.1/share/apps/ksgmltools2/docbook/xsl/html/chunk.xsl exec.sgml to use the KDE stylesheets to divide the docbook into one html file per chapter; it looks pretty much exactly like your HTML files. > documented properly?
