Sudosh version 1.6.0 is now available. http://freshmeat.net/projects/sudosh/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/sudosh/ (freshmeat is slow on file releases; sf is always current) Major updates since version 1.4.8: o Sudosh now calls shells as if they were a login shell. Sudosh automatically sets the environment variables LOGNAME, USER, TERM, SHELL and PATH. o Changes directory to user's HOME directory. o Changed the way the shell is executed. Added a dash '-' before the arguement, i.e. -ksh This allows the shell to execute as if it were a login shell. o Added a random string to the log files so that non-privileged users cannot delete their log files. o Removed tampering code because it was not portable. o General code cleanup. -- - Doug Hanks = dhanks(at)gmail(dot)com ____________________________________________________________ sudo-announce mailing list <[email protected]> For list information, options, or to unsubscribe, visit: http://www.sudo.ws/mailman/listinfo/sudo-announce
