No, when you type "man sudo" you are asking to view the manual page
for sudo.  That does not run sudo itself.

You may not need root access to do that.  As a first step I would
go to your browser's settings and check for any browser extensions
you don't recognize.  If that fails, you may need a malware removal
tool for macOS.
