equinux welcomes your approach and is pleased to support the open XMLTV =
format. We strongly believe that EPG information should be free for every=
body, because after-all your are not paying for the movie theater schedul=
e either.=20

Welcome aboard!

Remember XMLTV is a a few things...

1. A standard file format that encourages interoperability.
2. A perl Module to help create tools.
3. A number of utilities to create and manipulate data

#1 is available to all... even proprietary closed systems should use it f=
or future interoperability.

#2,#3 Is generally available, but there may be some licensing issues if u=
sed in a proprietary product.=20

If you do use data sources in #3, you'll need to check that use is permit=
ted by a commercial product. I do know that it would violate the soon-t=
o-be released Terms of Use of the new Schedules Direct service.

Again, welcome the aboard.. the interoperability is good for everyone!

Robert
