This is a call for interested people to participate in designing the
new version of the XMLTV file format. If you maintain a program which
reads or writes XMLTV listings, or there is some piece of information
you'd like the XMLTV format to handle, now is the best time to make
comments and criticisms.

I have sent a message to the xmltv-devel mailing list announcing a
draft version of the new DTD. You can read the message at
<http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.tv.xmltv.devel/1476>, but if you
want to respond please subscribe to the xmltv-devel list and post
there.

(It is hoped that the change to the new file format will happen with
the xmltv-0.6.x series of releases. The format will not be backwards
compatible but there will be a transition period.)
